Just as befits Tartu, once a year you can have morning coffee with the mayor. Mayor Urmas Klaas offers coffee on the terrace of Cafe Shakespeare. There will also be a performance by the musician Silver Sepp.

At ten o’clock on the morning of the city’s feast day, the mayor Urmas Klaas offers coffee on Shakespeare’s terrace and learns how Tartu residents live. We talk about things that have been done and happened in the city during the year, but also about what is currently happening or coming up. All people in Tartu are invited to exchange ideas.

Eesti Pank will also introduce official commemorative coins dedicated to the city of Tartu at the morning coffee.
