Tartu is preparing a new development plan, which is now on public display for residents to review and provide feedback. The discussion will focus on what Tartu will look like in 2035. Come, think, and share your thoughts!

Join the discussion on the future of Tartu!

What will Tartu look like in ten years? Will it be a vibrant university town full of youth and energy? A tranquil garden city rich in greenery? A cultural hub with diverse and strong communities? A truly international center for business and innovation? Or perhaps a bit of everything? How can we achieve this?

On Wednesday, July 24th at 6 PM, representatives from various fields will gather at Autovabaduse puiestee to discuss the present and future of Tartu. The panel will include school principal Mari Roostik, entrepreneur Vallot Mangus, city planner Pille Metspalu, user experience designer and illustrator Kalle Paas, and Tartu City Government’s Head of Spatial Planning Department Kertu Vuks. The discussion will be moderated by journalist Mirjam Mõttus.

️ Come and ask your questions!

The discussion is part of the public presentation of Tartu’s new development plan. The Tartu Development Plan 2025-2035 is open for public input and feedback until August 19th.
