We are once again celebrating Finland’s Independence Day in Christmas City!

On this festive day, the Republic of Finland will be greeted by Tartu Mayor Urmas Klaas and the Honorary Consul of Finland in Tartu, Verni Loodmaa. The Town Hall bells will play Sibelius’s “Finlandia”, and the event will conclude with a traditional Finnish “jenka” dance.

Throughout the day, the ice rink will echo with hits from Finnish performers.
