On Tartu City Day, you can observe our closest star, the Sun, with a special telescope outside the observatory.

Observations take place only in clear weather.

The information about whether the event will or will not be happening can be gathered from the administrator of the observatory by calling +372 737 6932 on June 29 from 12 pm onwards.
